Ian Tabone

Ian is at the helm of Bullshark’s technology unit, where he manages the successful delivery of projects that range from custom software to cloud, e-commerce, digital transformation, and beyond. 

With over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, Ian has successfully operated in roles that include DevOps, cybersecurity, product development, and architecture. The duration of his career has seen Ian work in parallel to industry-wide developments in the technology space, effectively adapting to integrate emerging technologies whilst remaining at the forefront of innovation. 

Flagship projects within Ian’s career include the delivery of the Maltese Government E-ID’s security capabilities, digital infrastructure for one of Asia’s leading telecommunications networks, and enterprise-level trading platforms within the crypto and forex space.  

Prior to joining Bullshark, Ian served as the Head of Technology at Red Acre (FinTech sector), where he grew the company’s technology practice from a 30 to a 200 person team in the space of 3 years.
