Overview
Bullshark is looking for a seasoned creative leader to take full ownership of our creative services team. As Head of Creative, you will oversee a team of designers, videographers, editors, animators, and other creative professionals, ensuring the execution of high-impact work across branding, design, content production, and creative strategy.
You will work with clients across a diverse range of industries, leading creative excellence while driving cross-departmental collaboration with our strategy, technology, and marketing teams.
The ideal candidate thinks big and executes fast, thriving at the intersection of creativity, technology, operations, and business impact. You’ll set the creative vision, ensure best-in-class execution, and lead the adoption of AI and automation to enhance creative output.
Roles and responsibilities
(1) Creative Vision and Execution
- Define and maintain Bullshark’s creative direction, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and results-driven work.
- Lead creative strategy, brand storytelling, content production, and creative solutions for clients across a diverse range of industries.
- Develop creative concepts that win new business.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of designers, content creators, and similar role types.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular team training and upskilling, particularly in AI-driven creative tools.
- Implement processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and streamline creative output.
- Oversee project timelines and ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
- Establish clear guidelines for quality control and creative standards.
- Identify and implement AI and automation tools to enhance creative speed, scalability, and impact.
- Stay ahead of emerging creative technologies and leverage them for competitive advantage.
- Work closely with strategists, marketers, and developers to ensure seamless execution.
- Align creative strategies with marketing, technology, and business objectives.
- Provide creative direction for multi-disciplinary projects that span digital, branding, and content production.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a digital agency or a fast-paced creative environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative work that drives results.
- Deep expertise in branding, design, content production, and visual storytelling.
- A strategic mindset, with experience in scaling, optimising, and managing creative teams.
- Passion for AI and emerging creative technologies—you know what’s next and how to leverage it effectively.
- Strong balance between creative vision and hands-on execution.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills—you inspire teams and confidently present ideas to clients.
- Experience in UX/UI design and proficiency in Figma.
- Multilingual communication skills (English is required).
